Piney Patch Quiltworks is more than just an
on-line quilt shop. In addition to providing quality quilting
products and exceptional customer service, we also teach
classes, vend at Quilt Shows, and do trunk show presentations
for local quilt guilds.
Since we can't sit down together over a cup of coffee and share all
of our quilting experiences with you, we've decided to do what we do
best, add a page! Here you can learn more about what's
happening at "the Patch". You can also share your experiences with
us in our Show & Tell section of this

"Piney Patch Hits the Road to Bring Classes to Florida Quilters"
Whether we are
beginners, still learning the basics and adding new skills and tools
to our toolbox, or advanced quilters who are happy to pass their
knowledge on to the next generation of quilters, we all
take classes. There's nothing better than getting
together with a group of quilters to teach, learn, share, chat and
just have a really good time.
In addition to
providing quality quilting products to quilters all over North
America, Piney Patch Quiltworks also connects with Quilters on a
more personal level by presenting Trunk Shows and Classes throughout

Piney Patch's Show & Tell
We love Tee-Shirt Quilts here at
Piney Patch
Millie
from Inverness, Florida sent us this photo. She had a great
time making this tee-shirt quilt for her granddaughters. She
used shirts the girls collected over several years of dance classes.
Millie used Warm & Natural for the batting, fleece as a backing and
finished it with a combination of tying and machine quilting.
The finished size is 58" X 58". The girls are now enjoying
this fabric scrapbook to cuddle under. Just click on the photo for a
larger image.
PPQ's
owner and operator, Linda Thompson made this quilt for her husband,
Kerry in 2004. He had a few "collectable" tees that were very
special to him. Linda combined them with a basic log cabin
quilt block and then sandwiched and machine quilted it like a
regular quilt. Now that her grandson is starting a tee-shirt
collection of his own, he has asked for a quilt "just like
Grandpa’s".
Pleased with the results of "Kerry's
Quilt", Linda will continue to "think outside the box" and use
several different quilting blocks and a variety of placement
options for "Jacob's Tee-Shirt Quilt".
